You don’t need to start over loudly.
Especially as an amputee woman.
So many of us were taught that starting again has to look strong, decisive, impressive.
That if we slow down, we must be stuck.
If we pause, we must be failing.
But what I’ve learned — both personally and through walking alongside other amputee women — is this:
Some seasons aren’t asking you to push.
They’re asking you to arrive.
To notice where you’ve been surviving.
To feel where you’re tired of performing strength.
To let your body and nervous system catch up to everything you’ve already lived through.
Starting again gently doesn’t mean you’re behind.
It means you’re listening.
And that kind of awareness?
That’s leadership.
That’s healing.
That’s becoming.
💛 If this resonates and you want support that understands the layers of amputee life,
DM RESILIENCE and I’ll send you the link to book a Resilience Roadmap Session.
You don’t have to carry this season alone.
