It's Pro Tip Tuesday! Let’s talk about pregnancy, breastfeeding, and vein treatments 🍼👶🦵🏼

During pregnancy, hormone changes and increased blood volume can cause veins to stretch and swell. While many moms notice new or worsened varicose veins, we hold off on vein procedures until at least 3 months postpartum — and after breastfeeding when applicable.

This waiting period allows your hormones and circulation to normalize, helping us achieve safer and more effective results 🙌

Jackie did her training and got certified as a Surgical Assistant at Petra Allied Health. She has now been with us since early in 2016 and has showed us many of her skills and characteristics. Some of those are her compassion towards patients and her bilingual ability.

Fun Fact: Jackie also has a twin sister that also works for our clinics!

Meet Jeremy, one of our Radiology Techs!

Jeremy joined Ozark Regional Vein & Artery Center in October 2021. He completed his Radiologic Technology Degree at UAMS where he specialized in MRI & CT. While in school he was hired at Mercy Hospital where he worked for 10 years. During his employment he became the only tech in northwest Arkansas that specialized in Cardiac MRI. Jeremy takes pride in taking excellent care of his patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible.

Jeremy is married to his lovely bride of 13 years and has 2 beautiful children aged 16 and 7. When he is not at work he can usually be found in the woods, camping, hunting, or off-roading. His time in the outdoors is his stress reliever.
