Yesterday, Pearl Essence Beauty turned 5.
And wow… what a journey it’s been.
I want to start by thanking my family for believing in me before I even fully believed in myself, and my clients for showing up year after year, staying consistent, trusting me with your skin, and supporting my dream as if it were your own. You are truly the heart of this business.
I also want to thank the younger version of me, the 21 year old me who took a leap of faith, signed a multi-year lease, and opened a full-blown salon at the tail end of COVID while people told her she was absolutely insane. Turns out, she knew exactly what she was doing.
Every risk, every late night staying up until 2am building Ikea furniture, every doubt, every loss, and every win, I wouldn’t change a single thing. This business has shaped me and strengthened me in ways I never imagined, and I will always hold the memories of the life and events along the way close to my heart.
Here’s to five years of growth, resilience, community, and passion, and to many more memories still to be made.
