This must have come from my favorite past fabric store Hancock. They had no grids or groves and were always cut uneven. Such a waste and I hate waste!

Preshrunk and shook the rest of my batting. What a mess it makes! Time to order another 40 yards. I only use Warn & Natural cotton batting and 2 layers in my quilts. Cat quilt is coming along nicely and working on my face mask scrap quilt

I put one face mask scrap quilt together and will need to find the rest of my scraps to finish the second one. Cat quilt is sewn and pinned ready to zig zag.

I took my quilt from the scraps of the first 400 face masks to do a little repair on the foot pocket and it got so much attention at the quilt show. I was originally making this face mask scrap quilt for this room but got another top so I set it aside. I think I will make 2 out of it for sale! People went crazy over mine. One woman brought at least 10 over to see it and wanted to buy it. I wasn’t ready to part with something so meaningful. I gave away over 1000 face masks and it was the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done!

I will open up my store more this month but I will open anytime I’m home. I will be closed Thanksgiving and the next weekend for shows in Rohnert Park and Novato the following weekend. Please consider me for your Holiday shopping and I still have time for a few special requests. Cat quilt still won’t talk to me…
