PEOPLE; PLEASE STOP WEARING MASKS WHEN DRIVING IN YOUR CAR OR RIDING YOUR BIKE OR WALKING OUTDOORS IN THE FRESH AIR!
These ridiculous masks, (especially the way I see people wearing them, unsealed etc), are not protecting you from ANYTHING and may make you more susceptible!
PLEASE UNDERSTAND HOW YOUR BODY WORKS:
The basic necessary function of your lungs is to fill them with oxygen constantly, bringing it in contact with the bloodstream, and this oxygenation helps kill bacteria & viruses inside your lungs and body. When you are wearing a mask, you are obviously not breathing properly, plus you are inhaling your own carbon dioxide waste air, therefore you are NOT properly oxygenating your lungs for extended periods of time, this will make a healthy person sicker and lower your immune system for fighting off the very virus you are trying so hard not to contract! If you are forced to wear one I suggest deep breathing when you take it off to try and make up for the oxygen deficit-we NEED the fresh air! Thank you for reading my rant for the day
