For January, that focus is Service to Others. We put the needs of the individuals and families we support at the center of everything we do. It guides our decisions, our actions, and how we show up every day.

2nd ribbon cutting of the week!!

We had Sullivan’s ribbon cutting Monday and now we have the ribbon cutting today in Houston.

We provide community and employment services that support individuals with disabilities as they work toward greater independence, meaningful employment, and stronger connections within the community.

We’re glad to welcome our services to the Houston area and look forward to the positive impact they will continue to make in our area.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Scott's family and friends. He was a valued member of our community, and we are grateful to have been part of his journey.

Scott Wayne Bowman, age 70, of Rolla, formerly of Dixon, was born on February 5, 1955, at Troy, Missouri, a son of Willard Merril and Freda L. Cotton Bowman and passed from this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in the Landmark Hospital, Columbia. Scott worked for the Sheltered Workshop

Big changes are happening at our Rolla Day Services building.

We’re in the middle of a full revamp to create a more welcoming, functional, and comfortable space for the individuals we support.

We’re excited to share progress along the way and can’t wait to show you the finished result.

This is how we teach independence. Let us tell you about Gabe…

On Saturdays, he goes to the store with one of our Direct Support Professionals, picks out the ingredients, and comes to our day services building to make whatever he wants from scratch for his family to eat that evening.

It’s not just about cooking. It’s about learning how to plan, shop, and follow through. It’s about confidence and independence, built in moments like this.

Gabe loves cooking and is so good at it! We are so happy we are able to provide a space for him to continue to grow this skill and provide for his family.
We are so proud of you Gabe! ❤️

It takes more than one organization to truly support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. It takes collaboration, shared purpose, and a community willing to work together.

Every individual has unique needs, goals, and desires. When families, providers, and partner agencies come together, we are able to create opportunities that support not just care, but quality of life. The goal is simple. To help people live, belong, and thrive in the community.

Through partnerships that support behavioral health, case management, daily care, housing, and purpose-driven work, we are able to better serve thousands of individuals each year. When everyone is involved, outcomes improve and lives are changed.
This work is about more than services. It is about ensuring every person has the opportunity to live a productive, healthy, and rewarding life. It truly takes a village.

We had the honor of recognizing the incredible dedication and hard work of our team at a recent company meeting.

9 members completed the Missouri Talent Pathways Registered Apprenticeship and earned their Certified Direct Support Professional credential through the U.S. Department of Labor.

This achievement represents hundreds of hours of learning, hands-on experience, and dedication to providing quality support to the people we serve.

Since Missouri adopted this apprenticeship, nearly half of all graduates statewide have come from our company. That speaks volumes about the people who choose to grow here and the standard of care they bring with them every day.

We also recognized 76 team members who earned their DSP-3 credential within 90 days of being invited to complete it.

We are proud of every individual who was recognized and grateful for the impact they make each day.
