It is so tragic to see the damage brought by the storms and tornado in Rolla and the surrounding area. Our hearts are with the people and businesses who've experienced such devastating destruction. Our family spent some time this weekend helping in clean-up efforts and witnessed some amazing things; there are so many people doing so much good for our community and there is so much love here. We're grateful to be here and we're grateful to serve such a wonderful community.

In an effort to support our neighbors we're working with hearing aid manufacturers to provide deductible waivers for any loss or damaged hearing devices, power pack chargers for rechargeable hearing aids or disposable hearing aid batteries for people who anyone affected by our recent events. President Ronald Reagan was fit with hearing aids in 1983. He had significant damage to one of his ears during the filming of Code of the Secret Service, where a 0.38 caliber blank round went off in close proximity to him.

His open use of hearing technology helped reduce the stigma of wearing hearing aids. This propelled the hearing industry forward in innovation as the first all digital hearing aids were introduced in the late 1980's.

Custom ear products come in all shapes, sizes, and varieties. From hearing protection to swim plugs. If it's in your ear, custom is the way to go!

You can pretty much get any in-ear device fitted with custom ear pieces. One size fits all doesn't actually fit all. With custom ear pieces you can wear your hearables securely and comfortably.

Earmold impressions are used to make custom ear products such as in the ear hearing aids, earmolds, custom hearing protection, swim plugs, and musicians plugs.

It's already been a whole year!

From starting the clinic to having a new baby, last year felt like a whirlwind that just kept on going. But it has all been an incredible blessing.

Today is our one year anniversary and I couldn't be more excited about how far we've come. It is truly a pleasure working in our community.

I do not exaggerate when I say I have the BEST patients and it's been an immense honor to be on their hearing journey with them. The best part of my job is watching people grow in confidence and happiness as we get closer to their optimal hearing capabilities.

I look forward to growth, both professional and personal, and forming trusting and genuine relationships with more people. Thank you for making year one so special.

Our primary intention of starting a clinic in Rolla was to expand access to hearing care to people in the area. Since opening our doors, we've seen dozens of people who needed hearing aids, but were unable to purchase them or acquire them through other programs.

This has been one of the most difficult things for me to cope with. Not being able to help someone because they can't afford it has got one of the most devastating thing as a healthcare provider.

In an effort to help some wonderful people hear, we decided to start a trade-in program. We're offering a credit for used hearing aids. Credits will never expire and can be used towards a purchase of new hearing aids.

The trade-in hearing aids will be refurbished and distributed to people in our community who have an immediate need of hearing devices.

John has a big bright smile and a heart to match. He’s worked construction for a number of years and experienced some major medical issues, all of which has contributed to the decline in his hearing. He's got a big beautiful family that he loves deeply, but unfortunately hearing loss was interfering with his ability to be completely present with them.

Being on a limited income he was unable to afford hearing aids. He looked into several options to try to get hearing aids, but every route was a dead end.

Unfortunately that is the story for many people suffering from hearing loss. The cost of hearing aids can be prohibitively expensive for some and there are often no resources for people like John to get this important and much needed healthcare.

Truthfully our clinic is small with limited resources, but our primary goal in this community was to expand access to hearing care and in an effort to do so, we decided to provide hearing aids to someone who is in immediate need. John is so incredibly deserving of this life-changing technology and we're honored and blessed to be able to help him obtain it.

It's been a pleasure serving this community in 2023, we look forward to the New Year!
