Today we were reminded that joy doesn’t come with an age requirement. 💛
One of our younger volunteers spent time playing games with a group of our older adults, and the room filled with laughter, friendly competition, and genuine connection. Jokes were shared, and for a while, the years between generations simply disappeared.
Moments like these matter. They build bridges, spark memories, and remind us all that companionship and kindness are timeless. We are so grateful for volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to make our community brighter—one game, one smile, and one shared moment at a time. 🎲♠️

Welcome to Whoville at Parkside Memory Care 🎄💚
Our halls twinkled, our hearts grew three sizes, and the cheer was extra Grinch-approved at our Whoville Christmas Party. Laughter echoed, music jingled, and the festive fun was in full swing from start to finish.
Big applause to Racheal Throop and Katrina Kelder for hosting a celebration that felt merry, magical, and wonderfully Whoville. It was a day full of joy that even the Grinch couldn’t resist. 🎁✨

Parkside turned into Santa’s workshop today. Residents tore into gifts like holiday pros, laughed at goofy surprises, sampled cocoa. The music was loud, the smiles were bright, and the holiday spirit won by a landslide.
