Americare campus is in need of a Therapy dog/pup. We are looking for someone to come in a volunteer their time either once a week or twice a month. This would be ideal for someone who is retired!

Pet Therapy helps with range of emotional, social, and physical benefits for residents. These visits help reduce loneliness, anxiety, and depression while promoting social interaction and providing physical stimulation like petting. Pets can also trigger pleasant memories, improve cognitive function, and have a calming effect that lowers stress and blood pressure.
