Oak Pointe of Rolla is a senior living community that was intentionally designed to meet the unique needs of older adults. With both assisted living and memory care services, residents have their choice of purposefully designed studios or one- or two-bedroom private apartments, each of which include a full bathroom, kitchenette, emergency call response, fire safety system, and individualized heating and cooling. The building also features a beautiful dining room, ground level courtyard, full-service salon, computer room, fitness center, on-site rehabilitation center, and much more.

Let’s re-introduce the heart behind all the fun—our amazing Activities Director, Shalee Vandgrifft… better known as Sha! ☀️
Sha has been part of our community for a little over a year now and has been an Activities Director for 5 years! Her passion for bringing joy, laughter, and meaningful moments to our residents shines through in everything she does.
When she’s not busy planning activities, Sha loves to travel and spend time with her friends and family. Her nieces and nephews are her whole world—4 nieces and 3 nephews to be exact 😂💛
She’s always willing to lend a helping hand anywhere in the building and is truly a team player. Sha is a dog lover at heart (but really loves all animals!), and having moved around a lot as a kid, she brings a fun and vibrant energy wherever she goes.
She absolutely loves sunflowers, spring, and summer… and if you know her, you know winter is NOT her season ❄️😂 Her favorite color is yellow—just like the bright, happy sunflowers she adores 🌻
We are so lucky to have Sha as part of our Oak Pointe family! 💛

Let’s re-introduce one of the amazing faces that keeps our community running strong—Kris Notter, our dedicated Maintenance Man here at Oak Pointe of Rolla! 🛠️
Kris has been with us for almost a year, and in that time he has truly gone above and beyond for our residents and staff. From working long hours to making sure everything is just right, his hard work never goes unnoticed.
When he’s not here keeping things in top shape, Kris loves traveling, spending time with his family, and competing in disc events with his dogs—taking him all over the place! 🌎🐾
Kris has a passion for everything he does, and it shows in the care he gives every single day. He’s also known for keeping everyone laughing—there’s never a dull moment when he’s around! And if you’re talking music, he enjoys just about everything… except rap 😄
We are so lucky to have Kris as part of our Oak Pointe family! 💙

We would love to take a moment to re-introduce one of the smiling faces that helps keep our community running smoothly — Teresa Cook, our amazing concierge!
Teresa truly goes above and beyond for our residents every single day. She is our number one transportation lady, always making sure residents get where they need to go safely and on time. Whether it’s a ride, a question, or help finding the right person, Teresa is the one everyone turns to.
She is often the first friendly face you see when you walk through our doors, and her personality is simply out of this world! Teresa brings so much warmth, kindness, and positivity to our building.
When she’s not busy helping our residents, Teresa loves spending time with her family. Her sons always come first, and she is incredibly proud of them.
We are so thankful to have Teresa as the face of our community and such an important part of our team. ❤️

Today we’re celebrating the wonderful Miss Evelyn S! She has been part of our community for a few months now, and what a joy she has been.
Miss Evelyn is truly a spitfire with a personality that lights up the room! She brings so much laughter, energy, and happiness to our community. One thing we love most about her is that she will talk with anybody and everybody, always ready to share a story or brighten someone’s day.
We are so lucky to have her as part of our family and love the joy she brings to our residents and staff.

Please join us in welcoming Donald Keeney, our new Director of Sales! 😊
Donald has already done such a wonderful job connecting with our residents and their families. His compassion, kindness, and genuine care for others have truly shined through since joining our community.
Outside of work, Donald enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. Their family loves traveling throughout the year and making memories together. He also has a love for classical music and enjoys getting out on the golf course whenever he can. ⛳🎶

Welcome us in giving a warm welcome to our Clinical Coordinator, Laurel Harris! 💙
Laurel is originally from Texas and brings such wonderful energy and compassion to our community. She has a passion for caring for our residents and always does so with understanding, kindness, and a big heart. Laurel loves many things in life—from traveling and exploring new places to sharing laughter and joy throughout our facility.
Family means the world to her. She loves her wife and their wonderful children dearly, and that same love and dedication shines through in the care she gives every day. Laurel also has a natural way of making everyone smile and laugh, which brightens our halls and lifts spirits.

We absolutely love when Sarah comes in for exercise class! 💪😊
She is so wonderful with our residents and always brings such positive energy to the room. Sarah does an amazing job making the exercises fun, engaging, and adaptable for everyone so our residents can stay active and confident.
There are always lots of smiles, encouragement, and a few laughs during her classes. We truly appreciate the care and dedication she brings to our community! ❤️

Yesterday was definitely a little different in the best way! Our Activities Director brought in her nephew’s bearded dragon for the residents to meet, and the reactions were priceless. 😆
Some residents weren’t quite sure what to think at first, even our wonderful administrator was asking lots of curious questions, while others absolutely loved the experience and were excited to see something new and unique up close. It sparked plenty of laughs, conversation, and smiles all around.
We love finding fun and unexpected ways to bring a little excitement into our community! 🦎💚

We always look forward to our monthly visits from our sweet friends at Alternative Hospice! 💚🍀
This month, they came in and helped our residents create the cutest St. Patrick’s Day door hangers. From shamrocks to lots of green sparkle, everyone had so much fun getting creative and adding a little festive cheer to their doors!
