Our Story

As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® and an Active Release Techniques® (ART®) Provider, I diagnose and treat—as well as help my patients prevent—neuromusculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Patients seek treatment with me for athletic injuries, spinal conditions, migraines, jaw pain, rotator cuff injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and more. I take a whole-body approach to wellness and performance—so the entire machine of your body functions at its best.

Sports medicine specialty My specialty is the management and treatment of sports-related injuries, especially in runners, triathletes, CrossFit athletes, and golfers. As an athlete and coach myself, I understand the passion athletes have for the pursuit of excellence. I’m proud to have helped athletes of all abilities and disciplines return to activity. As a member of the chiropractic sports medicine organization Professional Sports Care, I provide care to athletes on the PGA Tour®. I am also a Titleist® Performance Institute Certified Level 2 Medical and Fitness Professional. With this specialized training, I provide swing analysis, rehabilitation, and fitness programs for professional and avid golfers. I’ve provided medical support services at four Ironman Triathlons, three CrossFit Games™ Regional Qualifiers, and for Team Salute at the Chicago Marathon for the last six years. Athletic and community participation My own athletic career includes five Ironman Triathlon finishes and the completion of a 50-mile ultramarathon. My love of endurance sports and distance running was forged in a 5K when I was 12 years old—I’ve never forgotten its test of will, and I’ve loved the sport ever since. As a coach, I’m active in training individuals of all fitness levels—I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and USA Triathlon Coach. I also lead track workouts for the AMP’D Athletic Association from April through October.
