Upper-back tension is often emotional labor, not bad posture.
Especially on the left side—where receiving support lives.
You don’t have to force it to relax.
You just have to stop asking it to carry everything.
You didn’t hold tension because you were “doing too much.”
You held it because your body learned to stay responsible, alert, and strong.
When safety increases, tension doesn’t disappear right away.
Sometimes it shows up first—so it can finally be supported.
Your body isn’t behind.
It’s catching up.
