MLK Day is a National Day of Service that encourages us all to volunteer to improve our communities. This year, we celebrate 40 years of MLK Day of Service and its impact as more Americans embrace the idea that citizenship involves taking an active role in improving communities.

Meeting our Cohort 8 Blue Ridge AHEC Scholars in person on Tuesday was an absolute joy! We hosted a holiday cookie-decorating event at the beautiful Harris Arts Center in downtown Calhoun, GA. This annual event provides Scholars with a fun, welcoming environment to meet and interact with their cohort for the first time. We look forward to this journey with these outstanding health professions students! Check out these award-winning cookies and their amazing artists!
