Hanukkah reminds us that even a small light can push back a lot of darkness.

In mental health, healing often begins the same way, with just one brave step, one conversation, one moment of hope at a time.

May this season bring you light, resilience, and peace for you and your loved ones.

If you find yourself needing a little help finding the light or peace this season it might be the right time to seek support. Its ok not to be ok.

The season can be extremely lonely and isolating for some people. Just know that if your holidays don't feel the same as others its ok. If your feeling lonely or isolated this season then know your not alone.
Don't compare yourself to others families, celebrations, decorations, or traditions. Find your own
Find your people and connect with them
Don't forget to engage in your self-care
Seek help if it gets to be too much

Thanksgiving may be over but there is a lot of benefit of continuing the feelings of and for as long as possible.
Finding gratitude and things to be thankful for can have positive affects on mental health, improve mood, change negative thinking patterns, and decrease negative feelings.
There are several ways to practice gratitude.
🙏Write 3 things each day your thankful for
🙏tell someone in your life how much you appreciate them
🙏shift your focus to what you have vs what you don't
🙏engage in mindfulness and acknowledge ability to be present, pause and take it in
🙏share an act of kindness and pass on the gratitude
🙏take a picture of something your grateful for
🙏create a gratitude jar

👇Drop a comment on how your going to continue to engage in and practice as the season continues

Yesterday was International Su***de Survivor Day, but we know that those who have lost someone to su***de struggle every single day.
Losing someone to su***de creates a kind of grief that is heavy in ways many people don’t talk about. It can bring confusion, anger, guilt, numbness, shame, and a thousand unanswered questions. You might replay the “what ifs” in your mind. You might feel isolated because the loss feels different from other losses.
Su***de loss can shake us deeply, and it’s common for symptoms of grief to show up as changes in sleep, mood swings, difficulty concentrating, or even physical exhaustion. Healing doesn’t follow a straight line, and you don’t have to navigate this alone.
Counseling can help. We have openings for new clients if your struggling in all three of our offices and
