This month, we are delighted to shine our Resident Spotlight on Lenna Forsythe, who has been a wonderful addition to our community over the past few months. Lena lives here with her husband, Richard, and their beloved dog, Lucy, who has quickly become a familiar (and much loved!) face around the community.
Lena enjoys spending her days taking Lucy on walks throughout the community and often brings her by the concierge desk—especially when treats are involved! She also loves spending time with Richard and participating in a variety of activities, where her warm personality and friendly spirit truly shine.
When asked about some of her favorite things, Lena shared that her favorite colors are shades of purple, especially mauve and other warm purples. She loves these colors because they make her happy and remind her of warm, comforting memories—something we think perfectly reflects her gentle and positive outlook.
Lena and Richard are also self proclaimed food adventurers. They enjoy visiting different restaurants and trying a wide variety of cuisines, including Chinese, Thai, and Greek food. While they are still on the hunt for their favorite restaurant, they’ve enjoyed the journey and promise to keep us updated once they find “the one!”
Something you may not know about Lena is her incredibly diverse background. After working as a bookkeeper and raising her children, Lena went on to work in special education, bridal alterations, and even wedding cake decorating—a true testament to her creativity and dedication. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and knitting, which she finds both relaxing and rewarding.
We are so grateful to have Lena as part of our community and appreciate the kindness, creativity, and warmth she brings each day. Please be sure to say hello when you see her (and Lucy!) around the community.
