Our annual Valentine's Day festivities were a great success, filled with love. The highlight was the King and Queen crowning ceremony.

We are thrilled to announce our 2026 Valentine's King and Queen: Loy and Getta! They were crowned for their charm, kindness, and popularity among residents and staff, setting a wonderful example of community spirit. The day included music, sweet treats, and heartfelt moments, making it truly memorable.

Our Leading with Heart recipient this week is Michelle Law.

Michelle is an exceptional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) whose presence on our team has been invaluable since she joined us in 2024. Her work ethic is truly remarkable, setting a high standard for dedication and commitment within the facility. Despite the demanding schedule of working two jobs, Michelle consistently steps forward to pick up extra shifts, ensuring our residents always receive the care they need. This extraordinary commitment does not go unnoticed and is highly valued by both staff and residents, who truly appreciate her care.

Congratulations to our 2025 3rd and 4th quarter Heartbeat Award winners! These awards recognize exceptional employee commitment and service.

Our 3rd Quarter Heartbeat Award Winner is Vickie Haines, our Director of Nursing (DON). Vickie was selected for her tireless dedication to the highest standards of clinical care, leadership, and resident well-being.

The 4th Quarter Heartbeat Award winner is Kayla Hott, a valued member of our Activities Team. Kayla earned this recognition for bringing daily joy, engagement, and a lively spirit, significantly enhancing residents' quality of life.

This week’s Leading with Heart recipient is Ashley Hines. Ashley's dedication to Hampshire Center is evident in her career progression, starting as a CNA in 2017 and advancing to LPN, and now an RN. She is a highly committed and hardworking employee who frequently helps out by picking up extra shifts. Ashley is also a tremendous asset to the Skin Team, providing invaluable support with numerous wound-related duties. We sincerely appreciate all your hard work, Ashley!

This week's "Leading with Heart" award goes to Samantha Kidwell!
Samantha has demonstrated incredible dedication since she began working here in 2022 as a temporary aide. Her commitment to growth quickly led her to become a licensed CNA just a few months later, and she continued her education to become a nurse in 2023.
Sam is a vital member of our team, known for her wonderful bedside manner and consistently cheerful attitude. She can always be counted on to go above and beyond, whether it's coming in early or picking up extra shifts.
