Valley Health celebrated a ceremonial ribbon cutting of its newest specialty care facility, Valley Health Center for Orthopedic Excellence | Wi******er, on November 10. A team of three experienced providers offers comprehensive treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including those affecting the knee, hip, elbow, wrist, and hand. The Center, located on the campus of Wi******er Medical Center, is the health system’s first general orthopedics practice in the Wi******er, VA area and part of a network of five additional Valley Health Center for Orthopedic Excellence locations in Martinsburg, Front Royal, Woodstock, New Market, and Luray. Our growing network of locations enables patients to receive comprehensive orthopedic care without leaving their local community.

Peer recovery support specialists at Valley Health are helping patients take the first step toward recovery. Through Project Engage, individuals with substance use disorders are connected to treatment and support—starting right at the hospital bedside. Thanks to a grant from the West Virginia Office of Drug Control Policy, Hampshire Memorial and War Memorial hospitals now have added resources to guide patients toward long-term recovery.
