The Villa offers rehabilitation and skilled nursing. In a culture that typically views aging as a period of decline, it's our philosophy that no matter how old we are or what challenges we live with, life is about continuing to grow. Together, care partner teams strive to enhance well-being by eliminating the three plagues of loneliness, helplessness, and boredom. A major aspect of our care involves creating a home-like environment and focusing on plants, animals and youth.

There is nothing quite like an Easter egg hunt to fill our hearts with joy and make us smile! Thanks to the incredible Villa staff and selfless Villa volunteers, we were privileged to make this unforgettable experience happen. We ended up with a couple of ties, and in the spirit of fun, the volunteers had to complete a thrilling head shoulders knees and toes challenge with cups to determine the ultimate winner.

Sariah, a passionate employee at Stewart's Floral, finds immense joy in rescuing gorgeous flowers from being discarded. She spearheaded Petals With Purpose, a heartwarming initiative that breathes new life into those blooms, spreading delight and warmth to those around her. The experience is truly uplifting, and she adores witnessing the happiness these flowers bring to people's lives! Thank you for thinking of The Villa, we love the flowers.

A huge thank you is being sent to all of you who remembered those who reside at The Villa.

• Mrs. Elison’s 1st grade class for the love bird cards
• Shallynn Wilkerson, librarian at Centennial Elementary, where each child made a special card
• Kids at Heart – Amy Massey – for the thoughtful cards and adorable stuffies
• Davis Food & Drug for the beautiful roses
• The 3rd grade class from Altamont Elementary who bused down to visit and sing for us, and for the lovely cards and flowers that the kida made and arranged
• The Rotary Club for passing out flowers and playing a fun game of bingo with us
• And to the many who left cards for us to deliver.

You each made hearts swell, brought smiles, and even a few giggles.

The Villa was filled with joy and gratitude this Christmas season, thanks to the numerous visitors, talented performers, and generous gift-givers. We're deeply thankful to Atti, DWS, Ann and her friend with accordions, X94 employees, Altamont FFA, and the Kings Peak singers for sharing their time and talents. Special appreciation goes to Kings Peak for the handmade Christmas cards. We're also grateful to the American Legion Unit 11 in Vernal for providing quilts to our veteran residents. A huge thank you to our volunteers who lent a hand when Santa made his appearance - you truly are angels. We're also thankful to UBH for adopting our residents, ensuring a wonderful Christmas for each one. And, of course, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Santa himself for visiting during his busiest time.
Should I have forgotten anyone I do apologize. And know we are very thankful for you.

A huge thank you to Discovery Dancers, they are here faithfully bringing joy to the residents with their dazzling performances.
