Just a reminder that the Measles Vaccine Drive is happening tomorrow in Roosevelt. This is a great opportunity to protect yourself and those in our community who are at higher risk. Free or low-cost options are available, and private insurance will be billed if applicable. Thanks to our partners at TriCounty Health Department.
Measles Vaccine Drive – Protect yourself and those who are at high risk
We encourage you to get vaccinated at these upcoming drive-thru clinics:
Vernal – Feb 28 | 10 AM–2 PM | UBH Vernal Campus, South Parking Lot (405 N 500 W)
Roosevelt – Mar 7 | 10 AM–2 PM | UBH Roosevelt Campus, East Parking Lot (250 W 300 N)
Free or low-cost options available; private insurance billed if applicable. These events are in partnership with the TriCounty Health Department.
We strongly encourage vaccination of all people older than 1 year of age.
First dose at age 12 months through 15 months, second dose at age 4 through 6 years
If you are older, it’s not too late. You can vaccinate now. You can even vaccinate after exposure if within the first 3 days to prevent or lessen illness.
If you received only one vaccination in the 1960s, you may need a current vaccine.
If you have questions regarding vaccination, please consult with your physician. Please see the attached document for more information on symptoms, prevention, and guidance.
Stay safe and protect yourself and your loved ones!
