There are recipes you love… and then there are recipes you can’t gatekeep. ’s cioppino is mine. 🦐🍅✨
My twist? I blend the vegetables right into the broth so it turns velvety, rich, and just thick enough to cling to every bite of seafood like it knows it belongs there. It’s cozy, a little luxurious, and smells like you’ve got your life together. 😉
Best part: this is a cook once, eat four times situation because the broth alone yields four glorious portions.
Future me is already grateful and very well-fed. 🍲

Thursday night exhaustion called… and I answered with a bowl of comfort! 🥣
I turned leftover baked chicken breast into a cozy chicken cacciatore using sauce I pulled from the freezer. Past Me really came through!! 😂
I added some fregola and the last of the broccoli rabe from earlier takeout, and suddenly this “clean out the fridge” situation became a meal-prep masterpiece. 👩‍🍳 💋
Proof that leftovers + a little assist from Past Me = the most satisfying kind of dinner. 😋

Add this to your “Where do I eat when I come to NYC to see shows?” list! ✅
We had a pre-show dinner at molyvosnyc last weekend and it was a Greek FEAST! 😍
Big had a crab cake and lamb chops, and I had the dips with fresh veggies and a lavraki (Greek white fish like a branzino) with sautéed spinach. Everything was so, so delicious and reminded us last summer’s adventures in Kefalonia.
For dessert we shared this twist on baklava - there was a layer of fluffy custard in the middle and it was 👌 perfection.

Taco Tuesday, but make it enchilada energy! 🌮✨
I’m drooling over these chicken & poblano enchiladas straight out of the oven.
I used Tumaro's whole wheat wraps, Kraft 2% milk cheese, and salsa verde from traderjoes, in addition to shredded chicken breast’s, poblano peppers, and scallions.
And the real win? LEFTOVERS waiting for tomorrow! 🙌 Future me is already grateful! 😉

✨Sunday Supper Vibes✨
After ten days, four hotel rooms, a weekend with my in-laws, 800+ miles driving back and forth across the state of Florida, and a flight back to the polar vortex, roast chicken and garlicky broccoli rabe was absolutely on the menu!
This meal is a delicious, comforting, and perfect welcome home.
And best of all: leftovers! 😋

First day back in New York and apparently you guys were serious when you said that it was freezing!! 🥶
Deconstructed wonton soup felt like the only reasonable response: gingery broth, tiny chicken meatballs, tender noodles I made from wonton wrappers, and baby bok choy, snow, peas, and scallions for a little freshness. Recipe linked in my stories!
This was hot, cozy, deeply satisfying, and exactly what you want when the city greets you with a polar vortex. 🧊

Après Ski (minus the ski) Party! 🎿
I love a themed dinner party - so last night I embraced the winter snow and we hosted an Après Ski Party where our guests were encouraged to come cozy… and hungry! 😉
We went heavy on the snacks for this, with an “Alpine Snacks” board we sourced from Schaller & Weber, chips & caviar from agata.valentina, and I baked a Brie with fig jam, rosemary, and chopped pecans with fresh apples. It wad all delicious but that BRIE! 😍
For dinner we made beef bourguignon and roasted carrots with Mike's Hot Honey, and I made Gruyère popovers and WOW! 🤩 They were puffed and cheesy and everyone loved them. Not bad for my first time making popovers! 😉
Dessert was strudel and all kinds of desserts from Budapest Cafe - rounding out our Alpine theme!
