Please join us for a fun holiday themed greenery craft using a sweet potato. The sweet potato represents grounding, community and culture which we will explore through hiking meditations and guided breathwork on a forest trail at Bemis Hill. Warm cider, scones, crafting and holiday cheer to kickoff the holiday season.

It is a minimum donation of $20 to attend the class.
Class starts at 11:30AM

Bring something to represent culture. Cass from The Laughter Patch is honoring her Norse and Scandinavian culture this holiday season.

We will be using the Bemis shelter to complete the craft and will have a fire going to keep warm. Please be smart and dress appropriately for the weather. Including shoes, socks and gloves.

If I open up 45 minute reiki and 15 minute sound sessions for gift certificates, would anyone be interested? I normally charge $75 an hour but would do these for $50. You can purchase an unlimited amount. I still would have to order the certs. Let me know if this interests you and share the word please! Thank you!

What a fun afternoon at the Warroad Living Center. When I arrived the residents were having social hour and pie! I got to see many familiar faces and got many smiles and waves!

So fun to see those faces! To start my time with them today, we did some light warm ups and poses to strengthen our spines. Then I played my singing bowls. It was very interactive. One of the residents was very curious about them and asked a lot of fun questions. So I played the bowls for him and answered his questions as I played. It was so fun! He wanted to hear how some sounded with all of the playing tools and how each bowl sounded individually and together. We learned about dissonance and resonance and at the end, I put my bowls on the table for them because they were so curious and I showed them how to play. So they played with a few singing bowls, the ocean drum and the swing chime.

The amount of joy I felt coming from them as they played was so cool to witness. Smiles, laughter and presence.

What a true joy and privilege it is to spend time with them. So grateful.

These girls are feeling rested and peaceful after spending the afternoon at The Laughter Patch. Today we explored yoga poses and connected breath to movement. Then we did a breath awareness guided meditation and closed the afternoon with a 30 minute sound journey. The girls fell asleep when I played the bowls. This was truly so much fun to host these girls afterschool today. Thursday we will do another 3:15-5 kids open house afterschool. Snack and beverages provided. 🙂 if your child has a food allergy please let me know so I can make arrangements for your kids to enjoy afterschool snacks too!

Tomorrow the studio will be open after school for the kiddos in town to come explore dance meditation, sound healing and kids yoga. 3:15-5. If you have a yoga mat please bring one. 🙂 this is a community event free of charge.
