Tomorrow, Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center - Native Connections of Rosebud will be partnering with the White River School to do a Family and Youth Wellness activity for the students and their parents/guardians.

While there is open gym. We will have a few booths set up for each student and their parent/guardians to participate in and learn some activities that encourage self-care for themselves, including having them do a make and take healthy snack that they do home to their families.

A few pictures from our craft night that we did on Tuesday. We had a good turn out and everyone enjoyed themselves. Everyone got to be creative and learn how to make earrings!

Two of our staff members have been working with the RST Adult Correctional Facility programs department on beading classes since early August 2024 to present for the inmates to participate in. Here are several examples or projects the inmates have completed. These are beautiful earrings! 😍

The funds from purchasing the beaded projects go towards buying more beading supplies for the program department to have this activity for the inmates. You contact them at 605-856-8770. ***

Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center - Native Connections of Rosebud will provide 10 spots for tomorrow’s crafting activity.

There are 10 available spots for anyone who wants to bead. 5 spots available for beading caps and 5 spots for anyone who wants to make lanyards or earrings.

You must call to reserve your spot. You can reach out to Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center office at 605-747-2777. You can ask for either Gabriel Good Shield and Andrea Eagle Pipe.

Wiconi Wakan Health and Healing Center - Native Connections of Rosebud will be hosting a crafts night on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025.

If you are working on your own projects such as sewing, painting, moccasins, etc., bring your projects too.
