Hello everyone, this is Steve & Kelly, owners of Roseburg Grocery Outlet.
I'm sure you've heard the news of the federal shutdown affecting the EBT payouts for November.
This is going to put a strain on many of our community members.
Steve & I have been brainstorming the last few days on how we could help & we decided, starting on Nov. 1st, we are going to be giving a 10% discount on all groceries to those who have an EBT card through the end of November if the funds do not pay out.
We are also working with DHS & FARA to hold food drives at the store on Nov. 4th & 5th.
We'll also keep working with our community partners FISH Food Pantry& Dream Center to keep a steady supply of staples available.
While we know we're not a one stop shop for all, hopefully we can help alleviate some of the burden.
