It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Mr. Nguyễn Công Trí, who was born on September 16, 1964, in Vietnam and departed this life peacefully on November 29, 2025, in Rosenberg, Texas, USA, after a long and courageous battle with cancer since 2013.
Mr. Trí was a man of strength, resilience, and many talents. In his early years, he worked as a farmer and later served in the military. Together with his devoted wife, he built a small family-owned noodle business in Vietnam, where their hard work and dedication helped raise their three children. He was the heart of the family kitchen—a gifted cook whose meals were expressions of love. At home, he was also the family handyman, always ready to repair anything that needed fixing. Through his example, he taught his children the values of hard work, saving, and not wasting what they had.
He found great joy in the ocean. One of his favorite pastimes was visiting Surfside Beach to go crabbing. Even after radiation or chemotherapy, he would still say “yes” to the water, the fresh air, and the peace it brought. His quiet strength never wavered.
Among his greatest treasures was his first granddaughter, Cherry (Karlie). He lovingly took her to the playground, rode bikes with her, fed her, and embraced every precious moment they shared. His love for her was tender, joyful, and unconditional.
To his brothers-in-law, he was a source of laughter and gratitude. They remembered him as funny, dependable, and always ready to help. Their shared memories are filled with warmth and appreciation.
We love our dad deeply, and we miss him more than words can express. His kindness, determination, and love will forever remain in our hearts.
Mr. Trí is survived by his loving family.
