March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month!

This year’s theme is “See the Able, Not the Label” a reminder that community, accessibility, and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities should be recognized every day, not just in March.

About 1 in 6 children in the U.S. have a developmental disability. People with developmental disabilities are working, going to school, volunteering, and contributing to their communities—just like all of us.

Texana Center is committed to providing inclusive, individualized supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Our Crisis Center does an incredible job providing high-quality services to our clients. In addition to these services, the center produces fresh vegetables through its on-site garden to help support those we serve.

We are always looking for dedicated volunteers who are interested in giving back and supporting the Crisis Center where needed.
