✨ ableExperience for Families ✨

Jeannie’s son has been using an AAC device for two years, and now her daughter is beginning her own AAC journey. Hear Jeannie share her story and how working with AbleNet made the process smooth—and even faster the second time with ableExperience for Families.

🧡 “What I usually share with families who are considering a device or nervous about getting a device: the device is not going to hinder your child’s speech development. It’s going to give them more support and help them grow with their language, and it’ll take away their frustration.”
— Jeannie, ableExperience for Families user

🧡 Family Feature Friday | Meet Owen 🧡

“Owen got his AbleNet device [QuickTalker Freestyle®] at the end of May 2025. We really didn’t know the extent of Owen’s receptive language understanding until he had his device! He is such a jokester as well, both personality wise but now also with his device, even jokingly telling his pediatrician that I am a witch at his last wellness visit 😂” —

Owen uses his AAC device as a vital part of his communication—supporting his speech, language development, and ability to express his thoughts and feelings. 💬🧠

Learning to express emotions through language instead of actions takes time and patience. Owen is growing and practicing every day. When words are hard, his AAC helps him share feelings like mad and angry, opening the door to co-regulation, connection, and understanding. 🌱🤝🧡

Every message. Every feeling. Every step forward. This is Owen’s voice. 💬✨

🎉 Social Media Takeover ft. 🎉

“Targeting self-advocacy through AAC is an essential part of my practice because communication serves so many purposes — not just requesting. Using an AAC device in therapy allows even the youngest communicators to express preferences, ask for help, and set boundaries while continuing to build language and communication.”

Curious how the QuickTalker Freestyle can help empower your communicator’s voice at home, school, and everywhere they go?
