"Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapshooting and running. He was a gifted artist, painting and drawing natural scenes and especially waterfowl, and he was an avid reader. He served in the United States Air Force as an Arctic Survival Instructor in Alaska. Most of his career was in the corrugated packing industry and he retired as a designer for Stone Container."

"Sporting the purple canvas apron with a Hallmark nametag, she worked until she was 87 as an independent greeting card stock person. She got herself a job when Doug retired! She would use her “fun money” to visit casinos on a regular basis. She was so well recognized at Mystic Lake, they greeted her by name before she'd even show her ID for friendly food comps."

Wendell R. Goertzen, age 73, of Maplewood: Memorial service on Thursday, April 9 at 11 AM at Bridgewood Community Church in Blaine.

"He graduated from Kellogg High School in 1971 and later worked for Energy Manufacturing and other clothing manufacturing companies. When he wasn't working, you'd find him at model train events, fishing in nearby lakes, and watching any and all Minnesota sports teams. His favorite pastime came around once a year, the Minnesota State Fair, where he enjoyed walking around and people watching."

"Focusing on sales and marketing in the technology industry, he worked for companies like Honeywell International Corporation, hotel information systems, BellSouth, and Symantec. In 1994, Paul became one of about fifty employees who had joined Secure Computing Corporation. Paul's success with Secure Computing led to many promotions and he became vice president. In 2008 when the company was acquired by McAfee, Paul left and in 2010 launched his own business, the iBIZ Marketing Group LLC."

"Linda Graduated from Simley High School in 1974 and continued her education at Dakota County Vocational School, getting a certificate as a keyboard specialist which she used in a variety of office positions. Wanting a change of pace, she enrolled in the Army Reserves in 1977, taking on a position of a Material Supply Specialist."

"Janet loved her family and friends. She was a longtime TOPS member, and enjoyed traveling, camping, and many road trips across the USA. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and canning. She worked for S.P.P.S (lunch lady), Sears Cafe on Rice St., and had her homemade dinner on the table every night."
