"Ruth and Tom were married in 1947, they lived a bit further down Rice Street but near both of their parents’ homes. They raised four children in a close neighborhood surrounded by an enormous number of Welsch and Weyandt cousins, aunts, and uncles, which kept everyone laughing and behaving. Ruth loved her family and her faith, which revolved around the corner where Grandma and Grandpa Welsch continued to live until they were in their late 80’s."
