We all have certain clients we naturally connect with — the ones who feel like home in our work.
For a long time, I felt nervous working with moms who were returning to movement. I wanted them to feel like that hour in class or a one-on-one session was just for them.
No roles.
No expectations.
Just space to reconnect with their bodies.
Now, nothing makes me happier than watching someone soften into movement, laugh through my questionable counting 😉, and slowly find themselves again.
That reconnection — to strength, breath, and self — is why I do this. 💛🧘‍♀️

If you’ve noticed emotional eating creeping back in during perimenopause, please know this: it’s not a personal failure.
Hormonal shifts, disrupted sleep, and nervous system stress all change the way your body responds to food, movement, and pressure. Add in old patterns that may have been worked through years ago, and it makes sense that things can feel confusing—or even familiar in an uncomfortable way.
This season doesn’t call for more discipline or stricter rules.
It calls for understanding, support, and tools that work with your changing body.
You are not broken.
You are adapting.

I found Pilates because I didn’t like running.

My work in emotional eating comes from lived experience.

I coach perimenopause because I’m in it.

This is my story.

I originally found Pilates because I didn’t enjoy running—but I knew I needed to move my body. What I discovered was a form of movement I could do for life.
Pilates changed my body and completely changed the way I view movement.

As I moved into health coaching, I knew I needed to be open about emotional eating triggers. Having experienced disordered eating in high school, I understand how those patterns can stay with you.

But I also know there are tools—real, compassionate tools—that can support us when triggers arise.

Food should nourish us, not feel like something that harms us.

I have added perimenopause coaching to my work because well, I’m in it too. This is a powerful transition, and I believe it’s one we should meet with knowledge—not fear.
Women deserve to be supported, informed, and heard through every stage of change.
