At an event organized by Humanbulb, a nonprofit focused on broadening inclusive access to innovation and entrepreneurship through emerging technologies, PRIDE Industries’ Chief Information Officer, Alan McMillan, delivered a presentation to an audience of 80 technology professionals. Alan discussed PRIDE Industries' mission and highlighted the significance of technology in achieving organizational objectives. He provided insight into Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other major cloud providers as well as addressing the evolving role of artificial intelligence within the business landscape. His expertise prompted productive discussions among presenters and attendees, who frequently referred to his insights throughout the evening. Through his leadership, Alan demonstrated innovative thinking and contributed to the development of a dynamic community of practice moment, reinforcing his standing as a leader in the field of technology.

Nate Simon is a great example. After aging out of the Illinois school system, Nate followed his love for fashion and took a new path forward. Alongside his mom, Holly, he co‑founded 21 Pineapples Shirt Co., a clothing brand rooted in creativity, kindness, and inclusion. Today, as a business owner, Nate uses his brand to challenge stigma around disability and inspire others.
