Yesterday our board of directors had the privilege of hearing from several of our Older Americans Act provider partners about their impact and the challenges they are currently facing.

A common theme among the group was doing more with less: Providers are working hard to meet the increasing need for aging services (meal delivery, transportation, caregiver support, etc.) with funding that isn't keeping pace with the need or inflation.

In response to this environment, providers are establishing new service models and new partnerships to meet the demand. Hearing directly from service providers helps us understand what older adults and organizations are experiencing so Trellis can be a strong advocate for the aging network.

This month, Optage Meals is hoping to send cheerful Easter and spring‑themed cards to all of our customers to put a smile on their faces.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children, church groups, college organizations, book clubs, or anyone who loves to get creative! 🎨

🐣 Make cards on your own time using your own supplies and feel free to let your creativity shine!

This holiday season, we witnessed an incredible example of teamwork and generosity. Volunteers from Johanna Shores - a Senior Living Community went above and beyond, stepping outside their regular community to lend a hand at Optage Meals.
