If you love FamilySearch and would like to learn more about the Wiki, then join us next Tuesday at the Maidu Community Center at 1:00 PM. Annette and Floyd Scott will be giving a talk about just that topic!
Floyd and Annette are Assistant Directors of the Family Search Center, “ which means, "We don’t know much about things, but we can find someone who does”.
Floyd is a retired engineer who wrote programs to test microchips. His area focus in genealogy has been Big Y DNA testing, searching for his original name that has been
hidden for years. “ I am not an expert family history person, but I feel confident enough to cover the plus and minus of different programs”.

As we go into July 4th this year, it's a significant time to remember our Patriots who fought in the Revolutionary War. It began 250 years ago on April 19, 1775. The first shots were fired just after dawn in Lexington, Massachusetts, the morning of the 19th. This is known as the "Shot Heard Round the World."
