It’s Giving Tuesday! We’d like to invite you to join with EMM as we sponsor an entire Christmas dinner for the Ukrainian refugees that are currently living in Daniel Rus’ hometown of Baia Mare, Romania. EMM will be sponsoring not only the dinner ($15/person USD) but also a Happy Box of supplies and essentials ($25/person USD) that will be given to each one attending. We're raising money this month to buy a trailer (or trailers) for Daniel Rus as he continues relief efforts to the Ukrainian refugees. Will you help us? It’s been 7 years since our founder, Dan Owens, went home to be with the Lord but we continue the legacy he left behind. Pictured here with Dan is his good friend and fellow evangelist, Deva Dandala (India) - a friendship that goes back to 1988 when they first met while Dan was working for the Luis Palau organization. Through the years Dan made over a dozen trips to India to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. With that in mind, we’ve joined forces with Deva to purchase a piece of property to build a church in Vijayawada, India in Dan’s memory! Planting churches has and will continue to be what Dan envisioned for Eternity Minded Ministries when he first started the ministry in 1998. While Dan is no longer with us, it is our prayer that this church will be “a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor” (Isaiah 61:3). Let’s not let sadness and death have the last word! Thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to partner with Daniel Rus (Romania) to provide for the Ukrainian refugees. Our partnership with Daniel enabled him to make two significant transports last week. Daniel reports that the amount of global help for the refugees has decreased significantly so the needs are great. We can still use your help and will continue to send Daniel funding as it comes in.

Thank you to all who have helped us support Daniel Rus (Romania) in his efforts with the Ukrainian refugees. Your gifts enabled him to purchase and deliver mattresses, food, and supplies for 2 different refugee locations in just the past few days. This coming week he’ll be driving another load of supplies into Ukraine and transporting two families across the border into Romania. We are so grateful for any help you can give at this time!

Here is a video of Daniel and his brother as they are driving over the border into Ukraine to deliver supplies. Daniel becomes emotional as he sees the long line of people walking to the border in very cold weather. He gave us his permission to post this video. Thank God for the people on the ground doing this sacred work.

Like you, we’ve been impacted this past week by the unimaginable invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces and wondering how we could help. This morning our dear friend and ministry partner, Daniel Rus (Romania), reached out and asked if EMM could come alongside him as he responds to the refugee crisis. Daniel lives one hour from the border and has worked tirelessly this past week by meeting refugees at the border as well as driving into the country to offer transport, shelter, and food. The number of refugees crossing the border on foot is overwhelming and there is great need for mattresses, food, and medicine. We can get money to Daniel immediately to purchase whatever is needed. We are partnering with Daniel Rus in Romania this month as he and his team minister in Craiova, a very poor and undeveloped area in Southern Romania. We've committed to covering the cost of filling "Happy Boxes" at $30 a box which will be filled with food and essentials and distributed to the poor.
