Harold Deneen Davis was welcomed into this world on April 5, 1940, to the late E.C. (Tom)
Davis and the late Nancy Jane Davis. At an early age Harold was beside his father Tom farming
and trucking. Although farming was something he enjoyed, the trucks were his passion. Harold
owned and operated Davis trucking and Davis and Barnard trucking for many years. After he
retired from the trucking business, he went back to farming for Spivey farms where he enjoyed
driving the tractors and turning the land. Harold also worked for the Hardin County Highway

Harold was a very innovative person. He enjoyed carpentry and sharing his creations with his
family and friends. Harold always had a story about his trucking and farming days. No matter
what he was hauling or what he was farming he would find a way to incorporate a story to tell.
One could say he never was without a story to share.
On Nov 13, 1959 Harold was united in marriage to Wanda Jean (Tuttie) Tadlock. They set up
their home in Cave-In-Rock, IL where they welcomed three children; Gayle Lynn Belford, Tammy Sue Tabar and Everett Deneen Davis. They enjoyed their lives until the death of Wanda on September 27, 1970.

2019. Harold was baptized on November 19, 1989, at the First Apostolic Church of Rosiclare, where he was an active member for many years.
Harold lived out the rest of his days in Rosiclare, IL where he passed on January 20, 2026, at the
age of eighty-five.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents E.C. Tom Davis and Janie Davis, his bother H. C. Butch Davis and Wanda Jean Tadlock Davis, son-in-law Randy Belford and Linda Rae Gowins Davis.
