🤩 Breast Reduction by Long Island based, board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Sotirios Papafragkou.
This lovely patient was suffering from large and droopy breasts which were causing her discomfort and pain. After her consultation discussing her goals with Dr. Papafragkou, our patient opted to undergo a breast reduction procedure.
Here you can see her before and afters at one year post-op. Due to the reduction in her breast size and uplifting the pendulous shape, our patient was able to be more active and lose weight on her own. Note her perky shape and smaller size that is more proportional to her body. We couldn’t be more thrilled for our lovely patient’s transformation journey!

💕👁️👁️💕 This beautiful patient flew in from out-of-state to see Dr. Susie Rhee for asymmetric eyelid ptosis repair. Eyelid Ptosis is where the eyelid does not open fully causing the eyes to look droopy, sleepy or tired. Although there are several different causes to eyelid ptosis, hers was deemed acquired after ruling out other etiologies. More commonly, this happens as an age-related change (involutional or attritional) where one of the eyelid muscles responsible for lifting the eyelid becomes attenuated (weakens/stretches) or dehisces (separates from its attachment).
Aside from the obvious cosmetic concern, her ptosis was impairing her vision and ability to work at the computer. She temporized her situation by using Upneeq (an eye drop which temporarily helps elevate the eyelid by targeting a different eyelid muscle), but these drops only last a few hours, and her condition was worsening, and she was seeking a more permanent solution.
After consultation with Dr. Rhee, she opted to undergo bilateral ptosis repair with upper blepharoplasty. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia and is very well tolerated. The recovery is generally quick and easy.
Here are her before and afters at 3 weeks, which my patient graciously shared with me. Already her eyelid position is much more symmetric, and sitting on the iris at the optimal location. We couldn’t be more thrilled for our patient!
