My social posting has been a bit hit and miss over the past couple weeks, and I almost completely forgot today was Earth Day.
Just like we support imperfect ambitions for living a low waste lifestyle, we don't get to focused on making too many changes at once that won't become habits. I believe that everyday is Earth Day.
So here's a little reminder that we are here to offer options and encouragement to choose low waste, locally crafted and good for you (and mother earth) whenever you can. 💚🌏💙

Yeah for Spring!
Moving into the the next few months, I will likely be in the shop some Saturdays as well. The blue flag will be out when I am there, so stop in if you are passing by!

My one week old cellulose sponge looks like hell, but at least we aren't adding microplastics to the system.
Shout out to Valley Knives for picking up and making my knives sharp and like new again!
Did you know that traditional sponges shed plastic with use? An easy swap to avoid this is to use a sponge made from wood pulp.
Husband is relearning how to clean these tools, but making dinner is so much easier with sharp knives!

A rad part of owning my own shop is product testing, sourcing and bringing things of value into the community for others!
Stainless steel bento lunch boxes, reusable period products, rechargeable lighters and easy to use food storage are all in the "testing" stage at SWCo!
