This month, we honor our cardiac patients. In January 2025, 6 year old Sarai and 5 year old Leonica, both from Haiti, received lifesaving heart surgeries due to the generosity of the Gift of Life program. Sean Levchuck, MD, Chair of Pediatric Cardiology, used a minimally invasive surgical procedure to heal each patient. Our St. Francis ambassadors ensured that the families were cared for, with a hearty lunch, and navigational assistance in the hospital. The girls continue to thrive at home in Haiti!
