Pilates is for Everyone! Below is a testimony of how it helps real life issues. This is why movement is medicine.

I credit pilates and specifically Molly Thompson, owner of Results Studio, for my incredible recovery following major surgery.

I had been going to her at least once a week for 10 years when I felt uncomfortable doing an abdominal exercise.
I went to the doctor and a tumor was discovered. That led to a 4 hour surgery to remove the tumor and all of my reproductive parts, and when pathology called into the surgery with a cancer result, lymph nodes and more removed.
With an 8 inch abdominal incision, I was expecting to need a lot of help just standing and walking, but I was able to sit right up, walk and care for myself.
This is because of Molly. Her work strengthens muscles, joints, works on proper posture, and all of it leads to better overall movement and health.

I am back at pilates between my cancer treatments because stretching, strengthening, and moving my body is healing for me.

Thank you, Molly.
I believe coming to you all these years saved my life.
The tumor was found earlier.
I had a faster recovery from surgery.
I am stronger for the treatment.
I will beat this cancer!

Do you complain about aches and pains? You aren't alone! Want to learn how to reduce those aches with your spouse or like minded people? I have an opening Tues @ 5:30pm, Wed @ 4:30pm, and other days and times to sub in when someone is on vacation or have other commitments.
Your exercises don't have to be perfect to be effective! You have to be intentional, but not perfect.😊
