đď¸ Sawdust OT at Legislative Day â Advocating for Access & Fair Reimbursement
Today we were proud to be at the Georgia Capitol for Legislative Day, advocating alongside colleagues in support of the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (GSHA).
The focus:
âď¸ Necessary coding updates and evaluation standards
âď¸ Protecting and improving access to patient care
âď¸ Increasing awareness among lawmakers about the real challenges providers and families are facing
These conversations matter. Coding structures and reimbursement policies directly impact whether clinics like ours can continue delivering high-quality, hands-on, community-based services to the families who rely on them. When providers are supported, families are supported.
We are committed not only to serving our apprentices in the clinic, but also to standing up for them at the Capitol. Advocacy is part of our responsibility as healthcare providers and as business owners in Georgia.
Thank you to GSHA and all the professionals who showed up today to ensure our patientsâ voices are heard.
