I am a Master’s Level Registered Counsellor originally from South Africa, now serving clients in the United States. I have a Masters of Science degree in Mental Health Psychology from the University of Liverpool, coupled with a BPSYCH Equivalent Honors degree obtained in South Africa. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the principles of person-centered care, blending traditional talk therapy wit
h evidence-based neuro-experiential modalities. I am passionate about guiding individuals towards recognizing and addressing maladaptive relational patterns, while empowering them to rewire their brains to heal deeply entrenched traumas and attachment issues. I enjoy working with all populations and ages and have recently discovered great fulfillment in supporting Deeply Feeling Kids (DFK), recognizing them as a distinct and newly acknowledged segment within childhood psychology. With their families, I advocate for a specialized approach to caregiving and parenting, tailored to the unique needs of these empathetic young people. Within this sensitive realm lies a profound opportunity for both personal growth and strengthened familial bonds. Within my work, I also help deeply feeling teens and adults, many of whom have never been fully recognized or supported, find healing and growth through self-discovery. When I’m not working, you can usually find me enjoying a grand coffee, with a book that smells of new pages, lifting children to and from school and sporting events, all the while with an unequivocal desire to discover life’s convergence of chaos and beauty in being a mom, a wife, and a person of this earthly world. I look forward to meeting you where you're at in life and facilitating a journey of healing, growth and access to joy with you!
