We’re deeply concerned about the CDC’s recent website change implying that the statement “vaccines do not cause autism” isn’t evidence-based.

🚨 Formula Recall Alert: ByHeart Infant Formula 🚨

The FDA has announced a nationwide recall of all ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula due to a multistate outbreak of infant botulism. At least 15 infants in 12 states have been affected since August 2025.

💡 What Parents Should Do:
• 🍼 Stop using any ByHeart infant formula immediately.
• 📸 Take a photo of the lot number and keep the container labeled “DO NOT USE.”
• 👶 If your baby has consumed ByHeart formula:
• No symptoms? Monitor closely for the next 30 days.
• Showing symptoms? Seek medical attention right away.

⚠️ Call us immediately or go to the ER if your baby shows signs of botulism:
• Poor feeding or weak suck
• Loss of head control or floppy movements
• Weak cry or decreased facial expression
• Constipation
• Trouble swallowing or breathing

💬 There are no reported cases in Georgia at this time, and this product is not a Georgia WIC–approved formula.
Parents can remain confident—this recall involves a small portion (about 1%) of U.S. formula supply.

Community Support During the Government Shutdown

Due to the ongoing government shutdown, families experiencing food insecurity may lose their SNAP (food stamp) assistance starting November 1, affecting thousands of children across Georgia.

At North Fulton Pediatrics, we care deeply about our community. Our office has a small food pantry to help support families in need.

If your family could use assistance, please talk to our providers or staff — we’re here to help.

We also welcome donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, toothpaste, and other household essentials to help support local families.

About Us

North Fulton Pediatrics was established to provide the best possible medical care for children. From infancy through adolescence, we feel that children need the professional attention of Board Certified pediatricians who not only monitor their healthy growth and development but can also respond to the acute illnesses and accidents that unfortunately may occur.

Our physicians, nurse practitioner, and staff are here to provide all aspects of medical care ranging from routine physical exams and immunizations to diagnosing and treating a complex variety of childhood ailments. For your convenience, we also have a small lab onsite and we provide vision and hearing screenings.

Our physicians are well trained and committed to their continuing education so that your child always receives the best possible care. When necessary, we refer to some of the excellent pediatric specialists in the area.
