The Elizabeth Dole Act of 2025 has officially increased the VA expenditure cap for in-home care. For Veterans with complex medical conditions - including ALS and spinal cord injuries - the cap has moved from 65% to 100% of the cost of institutional care.

This update removes the financial barrier that previously forced high-acuity Veterans into facilities. You can now receive the same level of care in your own home with full VA funding.
