School had you sitting next to strangers solely because you share a birth year, needing another stranger’s written permission to p*e, doing the same assignment as 30 other people regardless of what you’re actually into, panicking through a timed test, and dragging homework home for a second shift.
Totally normal.
Totally prepares you for real life.
Absolutely.

I want to highlight something in statement to regarding Eric Dane’s death. She said she will be holding him and welcoming him in her heart.
That, my friends, is essential: while it does not take away an ounce of devastation, remembering them, keeping them in our hearts, is continuing the bond we had with them. It’s carrying their wisdom, humor, love, with us. It’s as close to keeping them alive as we can.
In the grief nerds’ world we call this continuing bonds.

Thank you for asking me this question!
I am a big proponent of agency, as much as I can, and for high school they wanted to give regular school a try.
I have the privilege to allow school to be a choice.
Some families don’t have the option to homeschool and the system is so detrimental to some kids, that their families don’t have the privilege to choose school.
