E L E V A T E ✨

This morning, elevate looked like tears.
A closet full of clothes and nothing felt right —on an out-of-uniform day she earned through courage and hard work.

So we paused.
I listened.
I reminded her she’s more than what she wears.

Because elevation isn’t about pushing through —
it’s about feeling safe enough to slow down and rise from there.

At Care More, this is what we believe too:
regulated nervous systems grow confident kids.
And presence is sometimes the most powerful adjustment. 💜

Tonight’s dinner was fresh ravioli with meat sauce.
Nothing fancy. Everything meaningful.

Growing up, when Grandpa I. came to visit, the house became a pasta house. Every flat surface—tables, counters, even the pool table—was covered with freshly bleached sheets and towels holding handmade pasta and ravioli. Sauce simmered. Meatballs and sausage filled every container and the freezer. We ate for months, but we were filled in ways that lasted longer.

I don’t make pasta from scratch like Grandpa did. But there’s something grounding about a semi-homemade meal—fresh ravioli, and my own doctored meat sauce—shared with my kids at the table.

My word this year is elevate.
Tonight, that looked like slowing down, cooking at home, and eating together.
This is how we care.
This is how we Care More. 💜🍝

Today I went to morning prayer where Lexi and the other spelling bee participants were recognized, and my heart was so full. 🐝✨
One of my words for the year is elevate—and part of that has meant being as present as possible for my kids, showing up for the moments that matter. Today was one of those moments. Watching her shine alongside her friends as they were honored was pure joy.

And the extra time, hugs, and smiles from Lexi and Jack afterward? The icing on the cake. Moments like these are everything. 💛

Elevate.

Sometimes elevation looks like doing something new for the very first time.

Today, that was my first Pilates class—intentional movement, unfamiliar muscles, and a reminder that growth often begins with curiosity, not mastery.

This year, Elevate is my commitment to raising the standard of how I care for my body and how I guide others at Care More Chiropractic—beyond relief, toward resilience.

That intention carries into the classes I’m teaching, beginning with Elevate: Boosting Your Energy Naturally—an evening focused on restoring energy through nervous system health, movement, and simple, sustainable shifts.
