Meet Our Ophthalmologist - Dr. Paul Engstrom

Dr. Paul Engstrom a board-certified ophthalmologist, is dedicated to preserving, restoring and improving your vision using the latest medical innovations to their fullest potential. He takes time to develop a close, personal relationship with each patient.

Dr. Engstrom graduated from Northwestern University and earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He focused on medical surgical eye care at the University of Texas in Houston, where he completed an ophthalmology residency. An advanced fellowship helped him master several special areas of adult and pediatric eye care including crossed eyes and eyelid correction surgery. Because of this specialized training, patients benefit from the unique expertise and skills he is able to offer.

Dr. Engstrom is known for his excellence in cataract surgery. For the treatment of glaucoma, he offers laser and i-stents. He performs eyelid reconstruction both for medical and cosmetic reasons. His pediatric specialty training is an extra plus for those suffering from double vision and cosmetic ocular misalignment. Also, treatment for macular degeneration with injection is available.

Roswell Surgery Cetner - About Dr. Ball

Dr. Ball earned his bachelor’s degree in public health from Brigham Young University In Provo, Utah, before pursuing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. After earning his medical degree, he further honed his skills in his surgical residency at University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Dr. Ball provides comprehensive care to pediatric and adult patients and is fluent in Spanish. He looks forward to creating positive relationships with new and current patients at the Spine and Orthopedic Center of New Mexico, PC.
