Stress and anxiety can feel similar in the body, but they aren’t the same. 🧠

Stress is typically a response to something happening around you, while anxiety can show up even when there’s no clear or immediate threat.

For both, it can be helpful to notice what situations, thoughts, or patterns tend to activate your fight-or-flight response. That way, you can have some in-the-moment strategies available to help you cope.

Did you know OCD and autism can share similar traits? 🧠

While they are different conditions, they can look similar on the surface.

Repetition, routines, and rigidity may appear in both, but underlying drivers often differ.

In OCD, behaviors usually relate to anxiety and intrusive thoughts. However, with autism, behaviors more often support regulation, predictability, or sensory needs.

Some people experience both, and understanding the “why” behind behaviors—like motivation, distress, and context—can make a big difference in getting an accurate assessment.

Recognizing these differences can help increase awareness and make it easier for people to find support that truly meets their needs. 🧡

"Starting over is part of life. Pivoting, changing your mind, and figuring things out as you go… that IS the point. 🙌

We get so stuck in this idea that we’re supposed to have everything figured out by now. But the truth is, no one does. Life isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about learning them in real time.

So wherever you are in your journey, I want you to remember this: You are not behind. You are not late. You are exactly where you need to be." 🧡
