The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter has installed pet microchip scanning stations in Round Rock that allow people to scan lost animals and reunite them with their owners.

We’re at the Round Rock ISD Wellness Fair inviting all the RRISD employees to visit the studio to relax their bodies and minds. 🙂

Congratulations to Suzie Hamilton, the winner of our January Challenge! Suzie’s name was drawn from among all the people who attended 5 or more classes during the month. She’s won a month of Membership!

Suzie’s been practicing yoga with us since March 2011. We happened to find this 2011 photo of one of her first classes. This was taken in our first studio location, which was on Round Rock Ave near where Freddie’s Custard is now. Suzie in the back row in a pink t-shirt.

We’re heartbroken to share that Cynthia passed away unexpectedly this week while she was visiting her daughter in New Zealand. Cynthia has been a cherished member of our community since 2013 and also a much-valued member of our team since 2019.

An enthusiastic yoga student and yoga teacher, Cynthia also worked behind the scenes to keep Round Rock Yoga running, managing all kinds of things from class scheduling, to answering email, to preparing weekly meeting agendas, and so much more. Her passing leaves a hole in our team and also in our hearts.

Cynthia was very much looking forward to this trip to New Zealand and we’re grateful that she was able to enjoy some incredible hiking in her last days.

We’d like to plan a memorial for Cynthia in the next few weeks. Please stay tuned for details.
