Practicing for the big night! 🎃 We had a spectacular time at our CAC Practice Trick-or-Treat event today! It was so sweet seeing all our amazing kids get ready for Halloween with their families.

Whether sharing their excitement verbally or through their AAC devices, every smile and every "Trick or Treat!" warmed our hearts. We are so proud of all their hard work and can't wait for them to show off their skills tonight! Have a spooktacular Halloween everyone 👻

We had a spooktacular time at our annual Halloween party! 🎃👻Our families and staff truly brought the fun with amazing costumes and incredible energy. From the trunk-or-treats and the dance party to all the creative themed booths, it was a wonderful night of laughter and sweet memories.

Thank you to everyone who made this year's party a massive success! We love seeing our community come together.

Huge thanks to Camryn , our amazing community helper for the final week of our series! 🤩

Camryn, a wonderful nurse, came over and spent time with our kids at CAC, showing them exactly what nurses and doctors do. She was so sweet to bring fun Band-Aids and stickers, making the experience truly hands-on and memorable!

The biggest takeaway? Camryn helped our kiddos see that healthcare professionals aren't scary, but are actually here to make you feel better! Our kids had a fantastic time with the hands-on activity and learned that doctors and nurses are their friends. ❤️

We had a super-star community helper visit the clinic today! 🦷✨

In honor of Community Helper Month, the amazing Holly from Horizon Dental Care in Georgetown stopped by to help us banish the dentist hygienist fears! She did a fantastic job showing our kiddos that a trip to the dentist can be fun and not scary at all.

Every child got a mirror to take home and practice being a "tooth detective" with! It's all about early exposure and making that sensory experience familiar and positive. We are so grateful for this visit!

The joy was contagious today! Our kids had the most delightful time at the St. Richard's Episcopal pumpkin patch right next door. From exploring the rows to the serious business of picking the perfect pumpkin, it was a fantastic morning of learning and fun!

We extend our deepest gratitude to St. Richard's Episcopal for their kindness and gracious invitation. What a heartwarming way to kick off the fall season!

Learning about our Community Helpers is always a highlight at CAC!

Today, we had the honor of welcoming Round Rock Fire Department Firefighters! This visit was a fantastic opportunity for our kiddos to engage with new people and sensory experiences in a safe, familiar environment. They got to:

See the bright red fire truck!

Touch the specialized gear and learn why it's used.

Practice being calm around new sights and sounds.

A big round of applause for these heroes who keep our community safe. They truly sparked some imagination (and lots of smiles!) today!

We learned so much during our Community Helper Month! A big thank you to the Round Rock Police Department for visiting our clinic today. 🚓 Our kiddos loved the up-close experience with the officers and the police car—especially those flashing lights! ✨

Safety is a top priority, and the RRPD shared a vital resource: the Take Me Home Program. This free, confidential database helps law enforcement identify and communicate with adults and children who have difficulty communicating due to a developmental or cognitive disability. It’s a wonderful tool for peace of mind.

We wrapped up an absolutely fantastic spirit week here at CAC! 🎉 From comfy denim to vibrant celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Day and all the wild patterns you could imagine, everyone got involved. Huge shoutout to our staff and the wonderful kids for bringing the fun and making this week a success!
