We are so excited to welcome Gina Woodruff to our team 🌟
Gina Woodruff is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor supervised by Angel Landrum, LPC-S, LCDC, SAP and a Provisional Registered Art Therapist supervised by Alice “Bess” Green, LPC-S, LPC-AT, ATR-BC, SEP. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Art Therapy with Counseling Emphasis and a BA in Fine Arts. With a focus on bereavement, neurodiversity, pediatric medical art therapy, and substance use, she integrates both talk therapy and expressive art therapy into her practice. Raised as a “third-culture kid”, this cross-culture experience and blend of cultural influences gives her a unique perspective and sensitivity to working with diverse clients.
As a compassionate and dedicated art therapist, Gina believes in the power of art-making. Her approach is gentle and client-centered, providing a calm and safe environment where clients can express their emotions and explore their unique mental health and wellness goals through the healing power of creativity.
Gina integrates talk therapy with variety of artistic mediums, including painting and drawing, to help clients navigate their experiences with grace and reflection. She believes that art serves not only as a form of expression but also as a transformative tool for self-discovery and emotional resilience.
In her free time, she enjoys working in her studio with her dog Pips where she explores themes of identity, memory, and cumulative grief. While not in her studio, she can be found exploring art museums and traveling with her family to quirky roadside tourist attractions.
