We had an incredible Mardi Gras celebration filled with energy, culture, and community spirit! The festivities began with a virtual tour of New Orleans, bringing the vibrant sights and sounds of the French Quarter right to us. It was a wonderful way to kick off the celebration and truly feel the heart of Mardi Gras.
The excitement continued with fantastic entertainment by Jerry Layne, who had everyone smiling, clapping, and fully immersed in the joyful spirit of the day.
Our celebration would not have been complete without the phenomenal meal once again prepared by Chef Nicolette and our fine dining team. They created an exceptional New Orleansā€“style dining experience that delighted everyone and perfectly captured the flavors of Mardi Gras.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing management team, dedicated care staff, enthusiastic volunteers, and supportive family members who showed such exuberance and encouragement for our residents at The Waterford at Round Rock. Your commitment and love made this celebration truly special and unforgettable for everyone involved.

Today we proudly celebrate an incredible milestone ā€” the 101st birthday of World War II veteran, Maxie Sanders!
The Color Guard honored Maxie with a special tribute, recognizing his bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to our country. It was a powerful and moving moment for everyone in attendance.
The celebration continued with the wonderful residents and staff of The Waterford at Round Rock, who came together to make this day truly unforgettable.
Maxie, thank you for your service, your courage, and the legacy you represent. To your family, thank you for allowing us the honor of sharing in this extraordinary celebration.
It was a privilege to be part of such a meaningful milestone.
