We know it feels like the NeverEnding Story (seriously that was a weird dog/dragon thing) on the roads these days, but projects are actually progressing fast. Still, we get that there is A LOT of construction going on... like $223 million in road-related projects! BUT WHYY, YOU SCREAM? People just keep moving here. In fact, projections show that in just 15 years over 194,000 will live inside Round Rock’s city limits. At full buildout? Approximately 250,000.

Investing in our local infrastructure is a need, not a want. Municipal roadway infrastructure projects might go together quicker than the last piece of IKEA furniture you bought, but they’re pretty darn complex. You may not see what you think is progress until final paving is happening, but things like environmental analysis, engineering, design, right-of-way acquisition, utility relocations and much more are going on behind the scenes.

Basically, we’re saying to trust the process even though we get that it feels never ending. Cue the “it’s been 84 years” meme.
